Design

Grounded Logic performs geotechnical foundation design studies for variety of structures. Those structures include highways, bridges, retaining walls, industrial facilities, docking facilities, commercial structures, institutional structures, and residential structures. Grounded Logic has prepared plans for filling sinkholes, repair of failed slopes, construction of reinforced soil slopes, and plans for segmental block retaining wall. The picture inset to the right is a living retaining wall designed for Great Rivers Greenway Boschert Greenway in St. Charles, Missouri.

Grounded Logic and John Shively have designed reinforced soil slopes, temporary retaining walls, repairs of failed slopes, segmental block retaining walls and living retaining walls.

Grounded Logic designed 10 Redi-Rock (MSE) walls for the St. Louis’ Major League Soccer stadium in 2020 and 2021.
